Lanehead is a luxury venue for those looking to organise or participate in a Yoga Retreat in the beautiful Lake District. The venues spacious studio is a sanctuary for holistic wellbeing. Your students will enjoy views across Coniston Water by day and relax into the evening with the comfort of the property.
Yoga Classes can be held in the studio annexe or in the front study if you wish to enjoy views across the lake during your class. For those looking to book during the summer, our large flat lawn overlooking the lake can also be used.
Sleeping up to 36, we have a mix of single and super king size beds throughout with linen and towels provided. Each room has its own en suite bathroom and the majority enjoy breath-taking views of the lake and mountains. It also has two comfortable reception rooms with views over Coniston Water.
The property has a fully equipped commercial kitchen which provides for a full range of catering options. It includes electric cooking facilities, 2 microwaves, ample fridge freezer space and laundry area with dishwasher.

Bedrooms
Lanehead sleeps 8-36 guests in 8 ensuite bedrooms. Rooms are large and provide space to sit and read, practice yoga or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
- All rooms have the option of superking or twin bed set up
- Some rooms have additional adult size bunk beds
- Luxury Hypnos mattresses ensure a good night’s sleep
- Majority of rooms have west facing lake and mountain views
Catering
The property has a fully equipped commercial kitchen which provides for a full range of catering options. Facilities include a large electric cooker and hobs, 2 microwaves, ample fridge freezer space and laundry area with dishwasher.
In addition, we partner with local, trusted caterers who are experienced in all dietary requirements to provide delicious and nutritious food for each retreat. Please get in touch for further information.
Outside and Local Area
Large private gardens surround the house. This substantial lawned area, complete with patio, lends itself to al fresco dining on the oversized picnic tables. Discover our newly created viewpoints, overlooking the lake and dramatic fells beyond, which provide the perfect backdrop for painting or photography.
Please note there is no direct access to the lake from the property. Nearest available access can be gained at the head of the lake (Monk Coniston car park).
With the village of Coniston just over a mile away, you don’t have to go far to find local pubs, restaurants and shops. We are happy to recommend our favourite food and drink spots if needed.
